Oil-immersed power transformer is a kind of electrical equipment, it mainly uses the electromagnetic induction to convert a voltage grade alternating current into the same frequency for different voltage grade alternating current.In a power system, a series of power transformers of different capacities must be used in order to transmit the power generated by the generator to the distant users with the lowest loss.The main components of the oil-immersed transformer are the iron core ,winding and the oil tank for transformer cooling.
Iron core is the main component of transformer which ensure the winding coil electrified after the production of greater magnetic density.Generally speaking, there are two parts of iron core column and iron yoke. Windings are covered by the core column, and the iron yoke forms a closed loop. The core is made of laminated electrical silicon steel sheet with a high silicon content with thickness of 0.35-0.5mm, and the surface is coated with insulating paint.During the transportation of the iron core, it is easy to cause deformation of the core due to violent impact. Therefore, it is necessary to record the vibration times of the power transformer during the transportation.In order to record the collision frequency of transportation transformer, an appropriate collision frequency machine is usually installed on the outer wall of the oil tank of power transformer.
Winding coil is the circuit part of power transformer, which is usually made of flat or round insulated wire with warranty.In power transformers,for the convenience of insulation which make the high voltage winding set is outside and the low voltage winding set is inside.However, for some large-capacity low-voltage high-current transformers what the low-voltage side winding leads are troublesome in the manufacturing process, so the low-voltage winding is often set outside the high-voltage winding.Leave oil passage between high and low voltage winding.On the one hand, it is good for winding cooling and heat dissipation when transformer works, and on the other hand, it plays an insulating role between the two windings.
The oil tank is the main cooling system of oil-immersed transformer and the oil storage tank of oil-immersed power transformer.Through insulation oil, power transformers can achieve different forms of cooling.The oil tank is the transformer shell, the iron core winding is installed in the inside.For large capacity transformer, there are heat sink piece or heat sink tube around the oil tank.
